The birth of a dream

Isabella Luciano, co-owner of Global Village Organic Coffee, recalls the humble beginnings of their business: "We were opening a tea store called 50 Cups on Wade Avenue, but construction delays made us explore additional opportunities. That's when we came across Global Village and thought it would be a perfect fit to venture into the retail coffee industry."

Starting with limited experience, Luciano and Baker worked earnestly to establish themselves in the coffee world. "We had no clue what we were doing at first, but we received valuable guidance from the previous owner and the dedicated baristas who had already been a part of Global Village," she said.
